From 24 to 26 September 2008, thousands of creative minds from all over the world will come together in Amsterdam for the third PICNIC. Pretty neat huh?! Hell Yeah! Man, if I had the funds, I would def cough up the €1000,- plus for a ticket, hang around the creative folk for 3 days and be inspired

What I am really looking forward to is Thursday’s Special: A New Music Ecosystem. During this PICNIC special the music industry will be presented by non other than GERD LEONHARD. The inventor of Music 2.0 and one of the ultimatie Future Media specialists. Along with a keynote by Gerd Leonard four case studies from start-ups and artists will be presentend and discussed.

Here are two: Twones (Last.fm on steroids but better) and Dutch band Bløf will explain their new online-servivce that launched with their new album ‘Oktober’.

With a bit of luck I will be able to attend this must see/witness/be-there-or-be-square special in September. If so, I will report back in full details.
